Alina Dellanzo,DDS, PLLC was founded in June 2015, by Alina Dellanzo, DDS. She leads her team of well-trained professionals consisting of dental hygienists, dental assistants and support staff, to provide general and cosmetic dental services to the community in a warm, caring and cheerful environment.
She is highly passionate and dedicated to providing high quality, patient-centered dental care to assure patients are comfortable, well informed and fully satisfied with their smile. Dr. Alina Dellanzo studied dentistry in both Europe and the United States. Upon obtaining her license she commenced her career in a prestigious dental practice on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Under the mentorship of Roger Gershon, DDS, from 2000 – 2006, she mastered all aspects of the practice of dentistry and provided services to numerous celebrities. In 2006, she commenced her 5 ½ years of post-graduate studies. From 2006 – 2007, she studied comprehensive dentistry with a focus on aesthetics at New York University. In 2007, she left New York City and went to the Eastman Institute of Oral Health at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where she studied in an Advanced Education Dentistry Program for two years.
Due to her high quality results, she became a member of the public relations team working via television and written publications to promote veneers on behalf of the Eastman Institute. For the next six months she conducted research pertaining to fiber-reinforced bridges during which time she fabricated over 200 bridges. Her work was published in the Journal of Oral Rehabilitation in May 2015. In 2009 she won a contest sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for fabrication of optimally aesthetic composites and has been a member of the Academy since that time. In 2010, Dr. Dellanzo joined the team at St. Peter’s Hospital for her first year of general practice residency, surgery and root canal. She completed her second year of general practice residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City. In 2012, after completing her residency, she re-entered private practice. In 2015, Dr. Dellanzo opened her own dental practice where she practices evidence-based dentistry.
She works with her patients to achieve long lasting, restorative results. Her work is precise, and she demands highly aesthetic results using state of the art technology and materials. Her energy and passion for high quality dental care is contagious and motivates patients to stop smoking and practice good oral hygiene. Her compassion and good humor allow her to work successfully with all patients including children, and patients with high anxiety, disabilities and autism. She is a truly talented artist with the capacity to design a winning smile. Smiles are her life!!!
